WHere is a simplified interpretation of a cocktail found on a new cocktail list. It's a party-sized prepared mix which is bursting with the flavours associated with Christmas time, rendering it ideal for your celebration. Reserve the remaining syrup for brunch beverages, sweets, or to make additional servings of bikinis.

Serves 10 people
To make the Clementine Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
To make the Cocktail (produces 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Method
Making the Citrus Syrup: Combine the listed components in a pan, bring to a gentle boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Then, remove from the stove and let it to cool fully. Pour into a sealable bottle, cap it and store in the refrigerator, it can be stored for around four weeks.
For the Batch Mix: Combine every spirits and syrup into a large bottle, leave to sit for one hour, then filter it preferably using a fine cloth, so it's perfectly clear.
For serving: Measure 85ml from the batch mix into your cocktail shaker packed with ice, and agitate gently for about 60 seconds to chill. Strain into an chilled martini glass or equivalent, garnish with a few cranberries and finish with a quick spritz of mandarin oil above the glass.
