Former President Trump revealed on the weekend that he has asked the family of a National Guard member fatally shot last week to come to the executive mansion.

She conducted herself with calm resilience, a contagious smile and a positive energy that encouraged people around her,” Hankins, the leader of her former high school, told the press. “She was sweet, compassionate and always eager to help others.”

Memorial arrangements for Beckstrom are yet to be finalized.

Law enforcement have charged a 29-year-old individual from Afghanistan with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder while carrying a weapon.
