Iranian forces say they have struck a US naval base in Manama, as Iran launched strikes across the region in response for a "massive" and continuing assault targeting the nation by the United States and Israeli forces.

Officials reported wreckage fell on a neighborhood in the capital, causing some structural damage and killing a civilian.

The US Air Force is stationed at Al Dhafra Air Base, south of the Emirati capital, along with the Emirati Air Force.
